Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man in his 40s who went missing from Lake Bluff on Sunday and might be on his bicycle.

The Lake Bluff Police Department said they are currently searching for 46-year-old Russell J. Ulrey, who is a Lake Bluff resident.

Police say that Ulrey has been reported missing since 1:40 p.m. on Sunday.

He was last seen in the area of the Lake Bluff Public Library, 123 East Scranton Avenue.

He might be on his bicycle, which police said is a blue Giant Sedona. It is unknown if Ulrey is endangered.

Lake Bluff Deputy Police Chief Matthew Smizinski said that Ulrey is described as a male white, 5-foot-8, 160 pounds, with gray eyes and brown/gray hair.

Police have not released any additional information on the disappearance. Smizinski said that police continue to conduct a full investigation and search for the man.
