A preliminary investigation shows a vehicle was traveling westbound near milepost 24.5 when it stopped in lane 4 for an unknown reason, according to Illinois State Police Trooper Genelle Jones.

A second vehicle traveling behind it was unable to stop in time and sideswiped the first vehicle, causing the second vehicle to roll over, Jones said.
