Lake County Sheriff canine Dax tracked down all three suspects who fled from a stolen vehicle in Lake Zurich early Monday morning.

The incident occurred around 12:40 a.m. Monday in the area of Lakeview Place and Main Street in Lake Zurich.

Lake County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. Christopher Covelli told Lake and McHenry County Scanner that three subjects fled on foot from a stolen vehicle.

The vehicle was stolen from Vernon Hills and officers with the Lake Zurich Police Department located it.

The individuals fled from the vehicle on foot and Lake County Sheriff canine Dax and Deputy John Forlenza were called to the scene.

Dax conducted a track and located all three suspects hiding in separate locations on the east side of the Lake Zurich shoreline, Covelli said.

All of the suspects were turned over to the Lake Zurich Police Department so they could further their investigation.

The Lake Zurich Police Department has not released the names of the suspects or if they have been charged yet.
