William J. Lewis, 38, of Woodstock.

A Woodstock man has been charged with a felony for allegedly selling a woman’s sexually explicit images and posting them on OnlyFans and Twitter without her consent.

William J. Lewis, 38, of the 700 block of Washington Street in Woodstock, was charged with one count of non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images, a Class 4 felony.

A criminal complaint filed in McHenry County Circuit Court alleges Lewis posted images of a woman, whose name is being withheld, on Twitter and OnlyFans.

The complaint says the images showed the woman “engaged in sexual acts” and Lewis also offered them for financial gain.

The complaint said the allegations happened in November. An arrest warrant was issued on September 1.

Police records show the Woodstock Police Department, who investigated the case, arrested Lewis on September 3.

Woodstock Deputy Police Chief Ray Lanz said he could not provide any additional details on the case as the detective working on it has not completed their final report yet.
