A 12-year-old girl who went missing after leaving the Round Lake Beach Walgreens with two men has returned home and is safe, according to her family.

Janasha Wallace, 12, of Round Lake Beach, went around 6 p.m. Monday to the Walgreens at Cedar Lake Road and Rollins Road in Round Lake Beach.

Her family told Lake and McHenry County Scanner that Wallace told her uncle she was going to Walgreens to get some snacks.

The girl never returned. Surveillance footage showed her getting into a black car with tinted windows after she left the store with two men, her family said.

Wallace did not answer any calls or texts and no one had been in contact with her since she disappeared.

Her family said that the girl’s phone had been tracked to Chicago late Monday evening.
