A Silver Alert has been canceled after a 71-year-old woman who went missing from Marengo was located safe Wednesday afternoon.

Agnica Clarke, 71, was reported missing around 5:50 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Marengo Police Department.

An Endangered Missing Person Advisory, also known as a Silver Alert, was issued by the Illinois State Police.

Clarke is a female white, 5-foot-1, 109 pounds. She was last seen wearing a green t-shirt with “ASPCA” on the front, blue jeans and flip-flops.

Authorities said the woman has blonde hair, which was in a ponytail, and blue eyes.

Clarke was driving a maroon 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan with Illinois registration X373947.

The Marengo Police Department said her last known locations were Fas Fuel in Marengo and the BP gas station at the Belvidere Oasis Travel Plaza.

Around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, police announced that Clarke had been located and was safe. “Thank you everyone for spreading the word!” the department said.
