The fire rapidly spread throughout the vehicle and it was engulfed within minutes.

A quick attack was initiated and the fire was extinguished in five minutes, Vucha said.

The fire is believed to have begun in the engine compartment of the vehicle and the cause is believed to be mechanical in nature.
