Police arrested a driver for driving under the influence after the man crashed into a light pole and then into a restaurant in Antioch Friday evening.

The Antioch Police Department received multiple 911 calls around 11:41 p.m. Friday for a vehicle that crashed into a building at Rivalry Alehouse, 945 Main Street.

No pedestrians, patrons or workers inside the business were injured, police said.

An investigation showed Nicolas Placko, 39, of Antioch, was driving a Cadillac CTS eastbound on Lake Street.

He continued through the intersection at Main Street and struck the light pole and then the building, police said.
