Police say they are investigating after a 14-year-old boy was beaten and robbed by three suspects in Harvard.

The Harvard Police Department said the incident occurred on November 8 in the 500 block of North Division Street.

Harvard Deputy Police Chief Tyson Bauman said the incident was reported to the police later that evening.

The victim, who is a 14-year-old Harvard resident, reported that three unknown male subjects approached him and struck him in the face.

The suspects took his backpack and fled the area in an unknown type black vehicle, Bauman said.

The victim did not know the offenders. He did not require any medical treatment for his injuries.

“We are actively working on several leads in the case we’ve developed through the investigation so far,” Bauman said.
