A 22-year-old woman, who has 15 prior convictions for driving on a suspended or revoked license, was arrested on Friday after she was caught driving on her revoked license in Richmond.

Court records show an officer with the Richmond Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a 2006 Suzuki Aerio due to the vehicle driving with its high beam lights on.

The traffic stop occurred Friday evening near Route 12 and South Street in Richmond.

The driver of the Suzuki was identified as Haley A. Kurszewski, 22, of the 1700 block of Church Street in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

Officers arrested the woman after it was learned she was driving on a revoked license, a criminal complaint said.

Kurszewski has 15 prior convictions for driving on a suspended or revoked license, the complaint said.

She was charged with aggravated driving on a revoked license, a Class 2 felony, and aggravated driving on a revoked license, a Class 4 felony.

In addition to the felony charges, officers also issued Kurszewski traffic citations for failure to dim headlights, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving on a revoked license.

Kurszewski remains held in the McHenry County Jail on a $30,000 bond. She would have to post $3,000 cash in order to be released.

A bond hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
