A 6-year-old North Chicago boy who went missing several days ago has been found dead, according to a report. His death is believed to be a homicide.

Damari L. Perry, 6, was reported missing around 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to the North Chicago Police Department.

WGN News, citing police sources, reported Friday evening that Perry had been found dead and his death was classified as a homicide.

Perry is described as a light-skin male black, 4-foot tall, 40 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, camouflage pants and black gym shoes. He was last seen around 5-6 p.m. on Tuesday.

North Chicago Police Chief Lazaro Perez said that Perry and his 16-year-old sister were driven to a party in the Skokie area by a female black known only as “Monique” and a male black known as “Wacko” or “Chaos.”

Monique was reportedly driving a black Nissan four-door sedan. The year and model of the vehicle are unknown but the vehicle has a dent on the front passenger door and tinted front windows.

Perry’s sister described the apartment building where the party took place as possibly being a three-story yellow building with an exposed stairway, Perez said.

The building may be located in or near Skokie.

Perry’s sister told police that she had several drinks at the party and fell asleep.

When she awoke approximately two hours later, Perry and “Wacko” were no longer in the apartment.

Damari’s sister was allegedly driven back to North Chicago by “Monique,” Perez said.

“Monique” is described as a female black, approximately 5-foot-5, 20 years of age, with a 6-year-old son named Tatum.

“Wacko” is described as a male black, approximately 22 years of age, dark complexion with a thin build, and short braids or dreadlocks. He has a tattoo with cursive writing above one of his eyebrows.

“When a child is missing, combined cooperation between the police, the family, and the public are often critical in bringing them home quickly and safely,” Perez said.

“Damari may be in extreme danger, and we are asking anyone with information on Damari’s whereabouts or the true identity of ‘Monique’ and/or ‘Wacko’ to contact the North Chicago Police Department,” Perez said.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Skokie Police Department are assisting the North Chicago Police Department in the investigation.
