Earlier this month, Welle entered into a plea deal with the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office where he pleaded guilty to aggravated driving while license revoked, a Class 4 felony.

In exchange for the guilty plea, prosecutors dismissed all of his other charges and traffic citations.

A Lake County judge approved the plea deal and sentenced Welle to 180 days of periodic imprisonment in the Lake County Jail.

Welle was also sentenced to 24 months of probation. He was ordered not to drive, possess any firearms and not to consume any alcohol and drugs.
