The Gurnee Fire Department and Gurnee Police Department responded around 1:40 p.m. Sunday to Washington Street and Greenleaf Street for a vehicle crash with injuries.

Officers located a 2019 black Dodge Durango and a 2008 silver Chevrolet HHR with extensive damage, Gurnee Police Department Public Information Officer Shawn Gaylor said.

Based on the initial investigation, the driver of the Dodge was traveling eastbound on Washington Street approaching the intersection of Greenleaf Street.
