Police say that a 69-year-old man from Wauconda who went missing for over two weeks was found safe Tuesday.
The Illinois State Police activated an Endangered Missing Person Advisory on Tuesday.
The advisory was issued on behalf of the Wauconda Police Department for 69-year-old Terrence M. Murphy.
Murphy was last contacted around 12 p.m. on February 19 at his apartment in the 300 block of Osage Street in Wauconda, the advisory said.
Murphy has a condition that places him in danger.
Wauconda Police Department Sgt. Heather Cognac said that Murphy was located safely on Tuesday after the missing person alert was issued.
Cognac said that the man was located in Deer Park.
