Police are warning the public after a man followed a woman to her car, asked to get in and then made “inappropriate physical contact” with her in the parking lot of Walmart in Huntley.
The Huntley Police Department said they were seeking the community’s help in identifying a man caught on surveillance footage involved in an incident on Friday.
A woman reported to police that she was approached by an unknown male subject in the parking lot of Walmart, 12300 Route 47, around 12:15 p.m. Friday.
The unknown man engaged in conversation and followed the female to her vehicle, police said.

When she refused, he made “inappropriate, unwanted physical contact” with the woman, police said.
The suspect was “frightened away” and left in a grey sedan with an unknown make, model or license plate.
The suspect appears to be in his 30s, has very dark hair and a full beard, speaks with an accent and English is not believed to be his primary language, police said.
