Authorities say one person was transported to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash that left one car rolled over on its roof in Woodstock Saturday morning.

The Woodstock Fire/Rescue District and Woodstock Police Department responded around 9:13 a.m. Saturday to the 1200 block of Lake Avenue.

Woodstock Fire/Rescue District Communication Specialist Alex Vucha said crews received a call for a vehicle crash with possible entrapment.

Firefighters arrived within four minutes and located two vehicles in the roadway with moderate damage.

One of the cars, a red sedan, had rolled over on its roof near the Walmart.

The driver of the sedan was able to free themselves from the vehicle before emergency crews arrived, Vucha said.

The male driver was transported to Northwestern Medicine Hospital in Huntley with non-life-threatening injuries that were described as minor.
