Logan C. Kramer, 23, of Bristol, Wisconsin.

A Wisconsin man was charged with escaping a police officer after officers found him driving a stolen vehicle while in possession of drugs and a stolen gun in McHenry.

Logan C. Kramer, 23, of the 9900 block of 191st Avenue in Bristol, Wisconsin, was charged with aggravated delivery of methamphetamine, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a stolen vehicle, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, escape, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, obstructing justice, unlawful possession of firearm ammunition, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a firearm.

A criminal complaint filed in McHenry County Circuit Court alleges Kramer possessed 15-100 grams of methamphetamine in a vehicle on Monday.

Officers with the McHenry Police Department found Kramer in possession of a stolen Ruger SR22 pistol and 10 .22 caliber bullets.

The vehicle Kramer was driving, a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox, was also stolen, the complaint said.

In addition to the methamphetamine, Kramer also allegedly possessed 20 Alprazolam tablets, 10 Clonazepam tablets and 20 Adderall tablets.

Kramer initially gave detectives the name of “Kyle Garcia” and a birth date but both were false, the complaint said. The complaint said Kramer knew he had an active warrant.

Two digital scales, containing a white powder residue that was suspected to be methamphetamine, were found.

Kramer was taken to the hospital and once he was released, he ran from officers who tried picking him up for transport, the complaint said.

Kramer remains held in the McHenry County Jail on a $300,000 bond, records show.

He would need to post $30,000 cash in order to be released.

A hearing on a motion to reduce bond is scheduled for Friday morning.
