A Chicago man who was wanted for allegedly beating a man and robbing him of his clothes, shoes and phone in Crystal Lake was arrested on Wednesday.
Devionne Jones, 21, of Chicago, was charged with robbery, two counts of aggravated battery, mob action and theft.
Jones was charged in October and a warrant was issued. He was arrested Wednesday, jail records show.
Davontae D. Harvey, 20, of Palatine, and Cody T. Hooks, 23, of Carpentersville, were also charged with robbery, two counts of aggravated battery, mob action and theft.
Jones, Harvey and Hooks, along with two others, allegedly beat a man at the Mobil gas station, 451 West Virginia Street in Crystal Lake, on July 15, 2021.
The suspects struck and kicked the victim, injuring him, according to a criminal complaint filed in McHenry County Circuit Court.
The group also robbed him of his shorts, cellphone and shoes, the complaint said.
Harvey and Hooks were taken into custody by police in November.
An arrest warrant was issued for a fourth suspect. A fifth suspect was also named in court documents but it is unclear if he has been charged yet.
Hooks has since pleaded guilty to mob action and was sentenced to felony probation with credit for time served in jail.
Harvey pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery and was sentenced to conditional discharge and public service.
Jones remains held in the McHenry County Jail on a $60,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday for an arraignment hearing.
