No one was shot after approximately three dozen shots were fired Friday evening in the parking lot of Bowlero in Buffalo Grove, police and a report said.

The Buffalo Grove Police Department responded around 10:30 p.m. Friday to Bowlero, 350 McHenry Road in Buffalo Grove.

Buffalo Grove Deputy Police Chief Michael Szos said officers were notified of a report of shots fired.

Officers arrived and found evidence of shots fired, Szos said.

Szos said there were no victims found and no injuries were reported to law enforcement.

The Daily Herald, citing village sources, reported that officers recovered 36 shell casings from the scene.

The spent rounds were recovered in multiple areas of the Town Center shopping center near Bowlero.

A car was found shot up and video footage of the incident was collected, the Daily Herald reported.

Szos said the investigation remains ongoing. He did not confirm if any buildings were hit by gunfire.

No one is in custody at this time.
