Nicholas M. Koczar, 37, of Woodstock.

Court documents allege that a man bit a police officer and squeezed another officer’s genitals when they tried to arrest him in Woodstock on Saturday.

Nicholas M. Koczar, 37, of the 2100 block of Willow Brooke Drive in Woodstock, was charged with three counts of aggravated battery, a Class 2 felony, and one count of harassment by phone, a Class B misdemeanor.

A criminal complaint filed in McHenry County Circuit Court alleges Koczar repeatedly called a woman and told her he was on his way to her apartment.

He implied that he knew how to harm and dismember her body, the complaint said.

Officers with the Woodstock Police Department responded and tried to arrest Koczar.

He bit an officer’s arm and then struck another officer with his chest, the complaint said.

Officers were able to get the man handcuffed and then Koczar allegedly used his hands to squeeze the genitals of a male officer.

A status of preliminary hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.
