The Lake Forest Fire Department and Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded around 1 p.m. Tuesday to Route 41 north of Route 176 in unincorporated Lake Bluff for a motorcycle crash with injuries.

The Peterbilt was traveling in front of the Chevrolet and the motorcyclist was run over by the wheels of the trailer.

The drivers of the Chevrolet and Peterbilt were uninjured.

Witnesses reported the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the crash, Covelli said.
