Authorities are seeking help in locating a 59-year-old man, who has a condition that places him in danger and was reported missing from Great Lakes near North Chicago.

The North Chicago Police Department is searching for Alan Gage, 59, who was last seen in the 1800 block of Virginia Avenue in Great Lakes.

Gage was last seen at the residence on Virginia Avenue at 9:30 a.m. on Monday.

Gage is described as a black male, who is 5-foot-10 tall and weighs 210 pounds.

He is bald and was last seen wearing a Chicago Bulls hat and pullover. The man has a scar on his right cheek and has brown eyes.

Gage was driving a silver 2021 Toyota Camry with Alabama registration 1A07141.

The Illinois State Police activated an Endangered Missing Person Advisory, also known as a SILVER Alert, for Gage.

Authorities said the man has a condition that places him in danger.
