Linda Moran, 51, of Lindenhurst

A woman was arrested for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend in the stomach during an argument at their Lindenhurst home Saturday evening.

Linda Moran, 51, of Lindenhurst, was charged with one count of aggravated battery and two counts of domestic battery.

Moran and her boyfriend were verbally arguing at their Lindenhurst home on Saturday, Lake County Assistant State’s Attorney Mary Daly said during a bond hearing.

Moran’s boyfriend became angry and started to throw things, Daly said.

Moran then allegedly stabbed her boyfriend in the left side of his stomach.

The Lindenhurst Police Department and Lake Villa Fire Protection District responded to the residence in the 2400 block of Carmen Court at around 11:10 p.m., according to fire department radio traffic.

Moran admitted to the stabbing to police, Daly said.
