A man was arrested after he allegedly touched a juvenile inappropriately and kissed her at a Beach Park residence last week, prosecutors said.
Irinero Talavera, 47, of Beach Park, was charged with four counts of domestic battery.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Beach Park on Friday, Lake County Assistant State’s Attorney Lillian Lewis said.
A family member of a juvenile called 911 after they were notified that Talavera was touching and kissing the juvenile inappropriately.
The victim, who lives with Talavera, told deputies that the man hugged her, kissed her on the neck and face and touched her waist, Lewis said.
The victim pushed Talavera away and the man allegedly told her not to tell any family members of the incident.
The victim was eventually able to get away and ask for help, Lewis said.
Lake County Judge Stephen DeRue set Talavera’s bond at $40,000.
DeRue ordered Talavera not to have contact with the victim.
He also ordered the man to not have unsupervised contact with juveniles under the age of 18.
Talavera posted $4,000, or 10% of his bond, and was released on Monday, jail records show.
He is scheduled to appear in court on November 16.
