Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a Crystal Lake man who has been missing for over a month as officials say they are concerned for his wellbeing.

Michael K. Marby, 40, of Crystal Lake, was reported missing to the Crystal Lake Police Department on October 21.

Crystal Lake Deputy Police Chief Richard Neumann said one of Marby’s friends made the report after being unable to make contact with him since September 21.

The friend last saw Marby in Cicero and is the last confirmed person to have contact with him, Neumann said.

The Crystal Lake Police Department said they have since investigated the circumstances surrounding his failure to communicate with his friends or family.

“We do not suspect Michael’s disappearance was the result of foul play; however, we share in the concern for his well-being,” Neumann said.
