Keith B. Houston, 53, a transient of Woodstock.

A man is back in custody on a warrant after he failed to appear in court in a case where he allegedly flashed his genitals at a child in Woodstock, records show.

Keith B. Houston, 53, a transient of Woodstock, was charged with disorderly conduct, a Class C misdemeanor.

A criminal complaint filed in McHenry County Circuit Court said Houston was standing in the 100 block of North Benton Street in Woodstock on July 30.

Houston was exposing his genitals to the public, specifically a female juvenile, the complaint said, adding that Houston stared at the girl while doing so.

The incident occurred on the Woodstock Square. Officers arrested Houston around 11:40 a.m. that day.

Houston was ordered held in the McHenry County Jail on a $100 bond.

He was unable to post the bond and was released two days later on a bond reform credit.

Court records show a plea hearing was scheduled for August 29 but Houston never appeared in court that day.

An arrest warrant was later issued carrying a $6,000 bond, meaning 10% is required to be posted for release.

Houston was arrested early last week and transported to the McHenry County Jail.

A public defender representing Houston has filed a motion reduce bond, saying Houston is not a danger to the community and not a flight risk.

A plea hearing is scheduled for Friday morning in the case.
