Francisco Carmona, 32, of Waukegan

A Waukegan man was arrested after prosecutors say he sexually abused two minors multiple times at a Mundelein home.

Francisco Carmona, 32, of Waukegan, was charged with three counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under the age of 13 and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim under the age of 13.

Two minor victims were interviewed at the Lake County Children’s Advocacy Center in September, Lake County Assistant State’s Attorney Emma Smoler said.

One of the victims, who lived with Carmona, alleges he sexually abused her on several occasions between 2007 and 2013.

Carmona touched both victims inappropriately and would make contact with them using his genitals, Smoler said.

Carmona was arrested by the Waukegan Police Department, court records show.

Lake County Judge Theodore Potkonjak set the man’s bond at $500,000.
