Zupec said the Cadillac sedan lost control due to the slippery conditions and struck the front driver’s side of the engine.

The driver of the Cadillac was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crew of Engine 4 was uninjured.

Both vehicles sustained damage to the front end, leaving a large amount of debris covering the roadway.
