An armed vehicular hijacking was also reported Tuesday evening in Waukegan, but it was unknown whether the suspects were the same ones as the Wednesday evening suspects.

In that incident, police said a victim walked out to their yellow Chevrolet Malibu in the 2500 block of Village Park Drive in Waukegan to retrieve something from it around 11:20 p.m.

Two subjects, described as male blacks wearing black clothing and ski masks, were dropped off in a vehicle and approached the victim.

A handgun was displayed and the suspects stole the victim’s Chevrolet.
