The FBI is searching for a suspect who pointed a gun at an employee while robbing a bank in Waukegan Friday evening.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) said they were notified around 5:25 p.m. Friday of an armed robbery at Old National Bank, 1201 Golf Road in Waukegan.
A spokesperson for the FBI said a male entered the bank while armed with a handgun.
The suspect displayed the gun at an employee, according to surveillance images.
The suspect, who entered the bank with a duffle bag, demanded money from the teller, the spokesperson said.
The FBI said the suspect was described as a male black, of medium build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, light-colored shoes and carrying a duffle bag.
No injuries were reported and the suspect fled the scene. He is not yet in custody.
The FBI said the unidentified man should be considered armed and dangerous.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading directly to the arrest and conviction of the man.
