Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 28-year-old woman who went missing from her home in Beach Park and has not been seen in weeks.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said they are searching for 28-year-old Angela A. Weeks.

Weeks has been missing for over three weeks since January 9, the sheriff’s office said.

Lake County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Christopher Covelli said the woman was reported missing by her family several days after she went missing.

Weeks has gone missing previously but was found safe each time.

It is not uncommon for her to be gone for several days, Covelli said, adding that this is much longer than usual.

Weeks is known to use the Robert McClory Bike Path.

Social media rumors that the woman was found are not accurate, the sheriff’s office said.

Covelli confirmed the woman remains missing as of late Monday morning.

Weeks is described as a female white, 5-foot-5, 170 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

Her residence where she was last seen is in the 38200 block of Geraghty Avenue in Beach Park.

Anyone who knows her whereabouts should contact law enforcement so they can check her well-being.
