The Illinois Lottery reported that a winning ticket worth $850,000 was sold in Sunday’s “Lucky Day Lotto” drawing at a gas station in Waukegan.

The ticket was sold at Thorntons, 3233 Grand Avenue in Waukegan, which is on the corner of Green Bay Road.

The person who bought the ticket matched all five Lucky Day Lotto numbers in the Sunday evening draw.

Those numbers were 17-20-22-24-35, according to the Illinois Lottery.

36 people matched four of the five numbers and they will receive a $200 payout.

1,566 people matched three of the five numbers and will receive a $15 payout.

20,239 people matched two of the five numbers and will receive a $1 payout, which is what the jackpot game costs to play.

The Thorntons store will receive one percent — or $8,500 — for selling the winning ticket.

Winners have one year from the date of the winning draw to claim their prize.

The Illinois Lottery said they encourage winners to write their name on the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they are ready to claim their prize.
