Police are investigating four separate incidents where a suspect or suspects forced entry to businesses in Highland Park and stole property or cash.

The Highland Park Police Department responded around 4:27 a.m. Sunday to the Mobil gas station, 2590 Skokie Valley Road in Highland Park, for a report of a burglary.

Officers found forced entry to the front door and learned cigarettes and gift cards were stolen, according to a police report.

Officers were called shortly later around 5:53 a.m. to Wendy’s, 2560 Skokie Valley Road, for another burglary report.

The restaurant was broken into sometime between 1-5 a.m. by unknown suspects.

They stole cash from a donation box after forcing entry to the south doors, the report said.

A third burglary report was made around 8 a.m. the same morning at Hearing Health Center, 185 Skokie Valley Road.

An unknown suspect shattered the front door sometime between 1:30 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday.

The suspect stole three UPS packages from the counter. The value of the packages was not known.

Officers also responded around 8 a.m. Sunday to a fourth burglary report at Chic Couture, 181 Skokie Valley Road.

An unknown suspect shattered the front door of the business, the police report said.

The suspect entered the business but nothing was reported as missing.

The incidents remain under investigation by the Highland Park Police Department.
