A Wisconsin man was arrested after state police say he fired shots at a 25-year-old Antioch man’s car during a road rage incident on Interstate 94 in Cook County.

Illinois State Police Troop 3 responded to a 911 call around 12 p.m. Sunday about a road rage incident.

The victim reported that he was driving northbound on Interstate 94 near Old Orchard Road.

The victim’s vehicle was shot at by the driver of another car during the road rage incident, state police said.

The victim, a 25-year-old man from Antioch, was not injured in the incident.

State troopers sent out a radio broadcast to police departments in the area alerting them to the crime.

The alert included a description of the wanted suspect vehicle, described as a silver Chevrolet Cruze with Wisconsin registration.

The Skokie Police Department located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop on Interstate 94 at Old Orchard Road.
