A woman is the third suspect charged in connection with a robbery where at least one suspect robbed a victim in the parking lot of a Wonder Lake pizza restaurant.
The incident happened at Napoli’s Pizza, located at 7613 Howe Road in Wonder Lake, around 6:35 p.m. on January 18.
The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office responded to the location after receiving a 911 call for an armed robbery.
An initial investigation showed that two people pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant and parked next to a gray Chevrolet.
They exited their car and one of them was approached by a suspect, identified as Dashaun Harvest, 24, of Chicago, who demanded money from the victim at gunpoint, the sheriff’s office said.
The male victim complied and Harvest reportedly got back into the vehicle and was driven away.
The victim and the second subject followed the suspect’s vehicle, at which point a suspect began firing shots toward the victim’s car.
The shots were later identified as pellets from a pellet gun, the sheriff’s office said.
The Woodstock Police Department responded to assist the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.
Woodstock officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle after the victim called 911 and a traffic stop was conducted.
The car was reportedly occupied by four subjects.
A passenger in the car, Dawun Harvest, 24, of Elgin, was found to be concealing a gun, later identified as a pellet gun, the sheriff’s office said.
Dashaun Harvest was charged with armed robbery and mob action. Dawun Harvest was charged with mob action and obstructing justice.
Court records show a third suspect, Sophia M. Stoiber, 23, of Marengo, was charged last week with one count of aggravated robbery, a Class 1 felony.
An unnamed subject, whom Stoiber was legally responsible for, also participated in the robbery of the victim while indicating he was armed with a weapon, according to a criminal complaint.
The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office did not confirm whether the unnamed subject was a juvenile, but they confirmed the investigation is ongoing and only the three suspects have been charged.
Stoiber was arrested last week after being charged and remains held in the McHenry County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
Dashaun Harvest and Dawun Harvest were arrested last month and Dashaun Harvest remains held in the jail on a $101,000 bond.
Dawun Harvest was released from the jail after posting 10% of his $10,000 bond.
