Police arrested an Antioch man who allegedly sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman in Antioch and took photos of her during the incident, officials said.
Oscar Morales, 47, of Antioch, was charged with one count of criminal sexual assault, attempted criminal sexual assault, criminal sexual abuse and domestic battery.
The Antioch Police Department arrested Morales last week after an arrest warrant was issued for him.
Investigators learned the assault occurred on December 10 in the 200 block of Anita Terrace in Antioch.
Antioch Village Communication Manager Jim Moran told Lake and McHenry County Scanner that Morales entered a guest bedroom in his home where an 18-year-old woman was sleeping.
He sexually assaulted the woman and took non-consensual sexually explicit photographs of the victim before she was able to flee the apartment, Moran said.
The warrant was issued for Morales on March 1, court records show.
He was transported to the Lake County Jail following his arrest last week.
Morales was ordered held on a $350,000 bond, meaning he would need to post $35,000 cash to be released.
Morales remains held in the jail as of Friday.
He is scheduled to appear in court again on April 13 for a preliminary hearing.
