Police say they are conducting an extensive search for a 21-year-old U.S. Navy member who disappeared after he left a bar in downtown Waukegan over the weekend.

The Waukegan Police Department received a report around 2 p.m. Tuesday for a missing person, according to Waukegan Deputy Police Chief Brian Mullen.

Mullen said the Waukegan Police Department Criminal Investigations Division began to investigate in an attempt to locate Seamus Gray, 21, who has not been seen since the early morning hours on Saturday.

Detectives learned Gray is a member of the United States Navy assigned to Naval Station Great Lakes in Lake County.

Gray did not report back to the base at his assigned time, Mullen said.

Detectives recovered video surveillance of Gray leaving Ibiza Bar, 17 North Genesee Street in Waukegan, around 1:35 a.m. Saturday, according to a police bulletin.
