The Illinois Lottery announced that a winning ticket worth $550,000 was sold in Sunday’s “Lucky Day Lotto” drawing at a grocery store in Lakemoor.

Two lottery players hit all five numbers in the midday Lucky Day Lotto draw on Sunday and will split the $1.1 million prize.

The winning numbers in the Sunday midday Lucky Day Lotto drawing were 1-5-21-25-41, according to the Illinois Lottery.

The winning tickets earned each player a $550,000 jackpot prize.

Both of the tickets were purchased in northern Illinois.

One was purchased at Woodman’s Food Market, 27555 Route 120 in Lakemoor, the Illinois Lottery reported.

The other was bought at Kinney Pump House, 502 Center Street in Durand, which is northwest of Rockford.

Both retailers will receive a bonus of one percent — or $5,500 — of the prize amount for selling the winning tickets.

The Illinois Lottery said this is the fourth Lucky Day Lotto jackpot won in March and the second jackpot to be split by two winners this month.

More than 26,000 winning tickets were sold in Sunday’s midday Lucky Day Lotto drawing.

Those include 44 people who won $200 each after matching four of the five numbers.

1,710 people won $15 for matching three out of five of the numbers and 22,273 people won $1, which is what the game costs to play, by matching two out of the five numbers.

Winning ticket holders have one year from the date of their draw to claim their prize.

The Illinois Lottery said they encourage all winners to write their name on the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they are ready to claim their prize.
