Search crews are actively looking for a 28-year-old man who went missing and was last seen in downtown McHenry early Saturday morning.
The McHenry Police Department announced Sunday afternoon they are searching for Gustavo Guzman-Perez.
The 28-year-old man was last seen in the 1200 block of North Green Street in McHenry. He was seen around 2 a.m. Saturday.
The police department said they are actively searching in the area of the McHenry Country Club, 820 North John Street.
Police are being assisted by the McHenry County Emergency Management Agency.
“We do not need any assistance from the general public at this time,” the department said.
Police have not said if Guzman-Perez was with anyone around the time he disappeared or near what business he was last seen.
It is unknown if Guzman-Perez is considered endangered or not.
