Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a jogger who was hospitalized after he was found unconscious and not breathing in Algonquin Saturday.

The Algonquin Police Department and Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District responded around 7:39 p.m. Saturday to the 100 block of South Oakleaf Road.

Paramedics received a call for a person who was found unconscious and not breathing in front of a residence.

The person, a man in his 60s, appeared to have had a medical episode, police said.

The man was transported to a local hospital but authorities have been unable to identify him yet.

The man was jogging in the area before he was found, police said.

He is described as a white male, approximately in his 60s, wearing a dark blue t-shirt and green jogging shorts.
