Two women were transported to the hospital after they were stabbed by another woman during a fight at an apartment complex in Waukegan.

The Waukegan Police Department and Waukegan Fire Department responded around 1:58 a.m. Thursday to the Casa Apartments in the 2000 block of Georgetown Lane.

A 911 caller initially reported a female in her 20s had been stabbed, according to fire department radio traffic.

It was learned that a second victim had also been stabbed, prompting two ambulances to be dispatched.

Officers arrived on the scene and learned three women had gotten into a physical fight.

During the fight, one of the women stabbed the other two women.

Paramedics transported both victims to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

The women’s injuries were non-life-threatening.

No suspects have been taken into the custody of the Lake County Jail in connection with the stabbing.
