A person showed up to the hospital with a gunshot wound after police say shots were fired at a house party in Gurnee early Monday morning.
The Gurnee Police Department responded around 1:40 a.m. Monday to the 1500 block of Acorn Court in Gurnee.
Police officials said officers responded to multiple 911 calls of gunfire.
Officers learned several people were attending a house party when shots were fired.
Evidence technicians located several shell casings at the scene. No gunshot victims were initially found at the scene.
A person with a gunshot wound showed up at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan shortly after.
The Gurnee Police Department was notified by the hospital around 3:40 a.m. The victim suffered a non-life-threatening wound.
Police officials say it is unconfirmed if the victim was shot in the Acorn Court shooting.
Detectives are investigating what led to the gunfire during the house party.
The incident remains under investigation by the Gurnee Police Department.
