A Wisconsin man, who had a child in his vehicle, has been charged with intentionally ramming another car, leaving his ex-girlfriend and another man injured in Richmond.
Mark W. Glosson, 46, of Genoa City, Wisconsin, was charged with failure to report an accident involving injury, two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, two counts of enhanced domestic battery, endangering the life of a child and reckless driving.
A criminal complaint filed in McHenry County Circuit Court said Glosson was driving a Ford F-350 Super Duty Lariat around 8 p.m. on August 2.
Glosson chased down a black Cadillac XT5, which was being driven by his ex-girlfriend, the complaint said.
Glosson, who had a child under the age of 13 in his vehicle, used his pickup truck to ram the Cadillac, the complaint said.
The incident occurred near Route 173 and Main Street in Richmond.
Glosson’s ex-girlfriend and a male who was in the Cadillac both suffered minor injuries in the collision.
Glosson fled the scene and did not report the crash, the complaint said.
Officers arrested him and transported him to the McHenry County Jail.
Court records show Glosson has a prior conviction for domestic battery.
McHenry County Judge Mark Gerhardt ordered Glosson held on a $75,000 bond.
Glosson was released from the jail after posting 10% of his bond.
He is scheduled to appear in court again on September 8 for a status of preliminary hearing.
