Two Waukegan teens and a third juvenile were arrested after they led police in Wisconsin on a “dangerous” high-speed pursuit in a carjacked vehicle, which was captured on video.

The Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin Police Department said they located a vehicle on July 22 that was taken in an armed carjacking in Palatine.

Officers attempted to stop the red Kia but the suspects fled, leading officers on a “dangerous chase,” the department said.

The chase lasted nearly 10 minutes and went through Pleasant Prairie, Kenosha and then back into Pleasant Prairie.

Officers were able to successfully deploy spike strips on the suspect vehicle.

The Kia drove through a construction zone and was unable to continue southbound due to a bridge being out on Sheridan Road.

The three suspects in the car fled on foot after the car came to a stop in the construction zone, police said.

Officers identified the suspects as two 16-year-old boys from Waukegan and a 17-year-old boy from Carpentersville.

All three were expected to face multiple charges in both Illinois and Wisconsin.
