Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 20-year-old man who is considered endangered and went missing from Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills Thursday.
The Vernon Hills Police Department said Friday they are searching for 20-year-old Kyleen Wright.
Wright was at AMC Hawthorn 12, 675 Hawthorn Center in Vernon Hills, Thursday evening.
He walked away from the movie theater on foot around 9:30 p.m., police said.
Wright was last seen wearing a blue hoodie and brown jeans. A physical description was not released.
Vernon Hills Deputy Police Chief Shannon Holubetz said Wright is considered endangered based on the information investigators have.
Wright is not known to have access to any vehicles, Holubetz said, adding that it is unknown if the man has a phone with him.
A source told Lake and McHenry County Scanner that Wright had no phone with him and possibly suffers from mental health issues.
Anyone who has information on Wright’s disappearance or spots him is asked to call their local law enforcement agency.
