Police say they are seeking the community’s help in identifying a man who struck a bicyclist with his car and then fled the scene in Huntley last week.

The Huntley Police Department said they responded on August 29 to a hit-and-run crash near Kingsman Smoke and Vape, 10996 Route 47 in Huntley.

The crash occurred while the vehicle was exiting the parking lot of a strip mall.

The man fled the scene and did not exchange information with the victim. It is unknown if the victim was injured.

Police announced Thursday they are seeking the community’s help in identifying the suspect.

Police also released a photo that was taken of the man at the time of the incident.
