Officers learned the Audi, driven by an adult female, had been traveling westbound on Route 14 as the victim was attempting to cross the street, the report said.

The Audi struck the pedestrian, causing the victim to fly into the air and land on the roadway 20 feet from the car.

The report said officers had the driver perform field sobriety testing and she did not show any signs of intoxication.

One lane of Route 14 was shut down while police investigated the crash.

It is unknown whether any citations will be issued or charges will be filed.
