Police are investigating two separate burglaries where offenders forced entry into residences and stole cash in the span of five days in Libertyville.

The Libertyville Police Department received a report of a residential burglary that occurred in the evening hours of November 15.

Unknown offenders forced entry into the home located in the 600 block of Nordic Court.

The offenders stole jewelry and cash before fleeing the scene.

The Libertyville Police Department responded to another residential burglary that occurred during the afternoon or evening hours on Monday.

Unknown offenders forced entry into the home located in the 600 block of South Milwaukee Avenue.

The offenders stole cash from the residence before fleeing the scene.

Police officials said no additional information was available for release at this time.

The incidents remain under investigation by the Libertyville Police Department.
