Lottery officials announced Monday that a convenience store in Crystal Lake sold a winning $700,000 lottery ticket from Friday evening’s Lucky Day Lotto drawing.
The ticket was sold at Convenient Liquor and Wine, located at 201 West Virginia Street in Crystal Lake.
The person who bought the ticket matched all five Lucky Day Lotto numbers in the Friday evening drawing. Those numbers were 1-11-27-34-39.
The lucky Illinois Lottery player won the $700,000 jackpot prize.
Convenient Liquor and Wine will receive one percent — or $7,000 — for selling the winning ticket.
In addition to the jackpot winner, 43 tickets were sold where four of the five numbers matched, resulting in a prize of $200.
1,495 tickets were sold where three of the five numbers matched, resulting in a prize of $15.
Winners have one year from the date of the winning draw to claim their prize.
The Illinois Lottery said they encourage winners to write their name on the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they are ready to claim their prize.
Lucky Day Lotto is an Illinois-only game with twice daily drawings at 12:40 p.m. and 9:22 p.m.
