The sheriff’s office is seeking the public’s help in locating an 18-year-old woman who is considered missing and endangered from the Gurnee area.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said Monday evening they are searching for Maja Pietrusiewicz, 18.

Pietrusiewicz is considered a missing and endangered person.

Pietrusiewicz was reported missing on Sunday and was last seen leaving her home in the Gurnee area on April 23.

The sheriff’s office said a clothing description for the woman was unknown.

Pietrusiewicz is 5-foot-5, 130 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

She has a tattoo on her right forearm of a cross and a rose, the sheriff’s office said.

Anyone who spots Pietrusiewicz is asked to call 911 so deputies can check on her well-being.
